Our current modules: [Exhibition Diary] [Castleby] [Cruk Bridge] [Fotherbrook] [Castleby Mills] [Castleby Crags]
In ancient times ...: [Group History] [The original modules]

This module was built during 2004 by Patricia Westall as a first attempt at railway modelling.

It features a lakeside section of the line beyond Castleby where the line passed a small farm building and a waterfall. The module is home to a wide variety of wildlife and proved popular with naturists naturalists during its outings to date.

A Paul Windle Bagnall 0-4-2T with it's train of Colin Ashby coaches approaches a small barn and farm storage area. The cows are Dairy Shorthorns.

A Paul Windle Bagnall 0-4-2T with it's mixed train of Fitted Vans and 4-whl coaches approaches the first tunnel of the Crags themselves. Not only has the fisherman caught an old boot but he's lost an oar as well. Mute Swans, Mallards, Pochard, Pheasant, Jackdaw and nesting Seagulls are amongst the wildlife in this picture.
