Castleby Mills

By July 2003 another module was completed, it can be used as a terminus station or through station.

Castleby Mills shows the development of a milling site and includes working features – the windmill sails turn at variable speeds, the steam mill has a working sack hoist and there is a fire glowing in the boiler house.

The steam mill and mill house are scratchbuilt from card with pantile roofs from Wills sheets. The windmill is a modified Dapol kit with fantail gear added whilst a modified Wills ‘pagoda’ serves as the station shelter.
